History of Jessee & Associates
In 1972, Jessee & Associates was established to serve clients in their real estate endeavors with commercial, industrial, and residential properties in transactions such as consultations, acquisitions, dispositions, sales, leasing, development, and syndication. Over the years, Jessee & Associates has had the privilege of serving investors, developers, attorneys, architects, mortgage and retail companies, entrepreneurs, private individuals, and corporations.
Objectives
Jessee & Associates’ objective is to provide a range of real estate services to enable our clients to make decisions regarding the acquisition, disposition, development and/or leasing of real estate assets.
We are engaged in the sale and lease of real estate on a stipulated percentage basis of total sales price and/or lease price. In cases of consultation, our compensation depends primarily on time and personnel requirements, complexities of the assignment, and the urgency of the assignment.
Jessee & Associates’ Sales Associates and Associate Brokers undergo continuing education programs and participate in orientation and educational programs on an ongoing basis in order to provide clients with information regarding real estate transactions and needs.
Each one of our sales associates has had training in Georgia Real Estate Law, real estate contracts, financing, and many more supplemental courses so as to provide clients with professional advice using their knowledge and skills.
We pride ourselves in performing duties in a timely manner and in updating our clients as to the status of a transaction. We feel that open communication is the key to meeting both our and our clients’ goals.
In order to provide our clients with specialized knowledge, Jessee & Associates is departmentalized into five divisions: Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Sales; Property Management and Leasing; Consultation; Property Development; and Syndication.
Experience of Bill Jessee, Broker
Bill began his real estate career with the First National Bank of Atlanta in the Consumer Credit Department. He then joined the Regional Real Estate Department of Sinclair Refining Company where he gained experience acquiring and disposing of service station sites and bulk plants. Bill then worked for Adair Realty, established in 1865 and the oldest real estate company in Atlanta, where he worked in property management. While at Adair, he managed apartment units. After Adair Realty, Bill joined the firm of Haas & Dodd in commercial sales. His career then led him to join the firm of Dargan, Whitington & Connor, established in 1892 and the third oldest real estate company in Atlanta, where he was Vice President and worked in property management and commercial sales. Bill later joined the staff of Adam-Cates, now known as Grubb & Ellis, where he worked in syndication, joint ventures, and commercial sales. In 1972, he began his own company, Jessee & Associates.
Education and Affiliations
Bill attended the University of Georgia and went on to graduate from Woodrow Wilson College of Law with a Bachelor of Laws and Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree. He is a member of Sigma Delta Kappa, a law fraternity. In 1969, Bill became a licensed Real Estate Broker. In 1974, Bill acquired his Securities Broker-Dealer License. He is a past member of the Atlanta Real Estate Board and a member of the DeKalb Board of REALTORS®, Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR).
Proven Leadership in the Industry and Community
Over the years, Bill has served in many leadership capacities such as Vice President of Programs and later as President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Professional Chapter of Rho Epsilon, the national professional real estate fraternity.
While a member of the DeKalb Board of REALTORS®, he has remained active and has served as a Member and later Chairman of the Commercial Council Committee, Education and Sales Promotion Committee, Board of Directors of the DeKalb Board of REALTORS®, Board of Directors of Metro Listing Service, Chairman of Commercial Sales Awards, and the Building Committee that built the DeKalb Board of REALTORS® Building.
While a member of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR), Bill has served on the Commercial Council Committee and the Professional Standards Committee.
Bill is a member of the Georgia Real Estate Exchangors (AGREE) and has served as Secretary and been on the Board of Directors.
In addition, Bill has taught the State of Georgia approved pre-licensing real estate course and post-licensing course for the Atlanta Board of Education and for fourteen years for DeKalb Community College (now Georgia Perimeter College).
He served two years on Woodrow Wilson College of Law Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. Bill is a past member of Lilburn Recreation Committee and Squadron Financial Officer of Civil Air Patrol (Peachtree-DeKalb Squadron). He is a current member of Lilburn Business Association.
Awards
Since Jessee & Associates’ inception, Bill has consistently made the DeKalb Board of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club in 1972 and 1981 through 2001. In 1979, he received the Most Complex Transaction Award from the DeKalb Board of REALTORS®, and he won the Phoenix Award in 1990. In addition, he won the Baron DeKalb Award in 1990. Bill has also made the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR) [formerly the Gwinnett Board of REALTORS®] Million Dollar Club in 1972 and 1984 through 2001. In addition, he won the Phoenix Award in 1989, was nominated as the Number One Commercial Agent in Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR) for 1989 and one of the Top Five Commercial Agents for 1994. He is now an Active Life Member in the DeKalb Board of REALTORS® and Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR). In 1999, he won the Gold Phoenix Award from the DeKalb Board of REALTORS® and the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® (NAMAR). In 2001, Bill was nominated as the #1 Commercial Producer in NAMAR. In 2002, he won the Active Life Phoenix Award for sales in excess of ten million dollars and Top Commercial Producer from the DeKalb Board of REALTORS®. In addition, he won the Diamond Active Double Phoenix Award from NAMAR. Since 2002, Bill has continued to receive the Million Dollar Club - Lifetime Member awards from the DeKalb Board of REALTORS® and the Northeast Metro Association of REALTORS® for sales in excess in a million dollars annually.

Jessee & Associates strives to keep up with the ever-changing marketing techniques of today’s real estate market. Our listings are available to view at our company web page at: http://www.gacommercialrealestate.com. In addition, users have the option to print out or download the property information (in PDF format using the free version of Adobe® Acrobat Reader®). This is just one of our many methods of providing marketing exposure to our listings.
